Would you like to live in a world where everyone has a decent place to live? We would too and that is the vision we work towards every day at Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore. People with the same hope for others come into our store every day to donate kitchen cabinets, painting supplies, appliances and more. When you donate art or other items to Morris Habitat for Humanity, we sell the items at bargain prices to people who want and need these products and use the profits to build or remodel homes for hardworking families.
Because we have limited space in our facility, we can only accept certain types of merchandise. We accept donations of kitchen and bath cabinets with doors and drawers attached. You can donate art pieces such as framed paintings, etchings and more. Some of the best-selling categories of donated goods in our ReStore include:
Don’t simply dispose of discontinued stock or slow-moving items that are filling up space in your corporate store or warehouse. You can save on costs related to warehousing merchandise or hauling it to a trash disposal site and receive a tax deduction by donating stock to the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Pick-up service is available to individuals and businesses wanting to donate kitchen cabinets or other large items that don’t fit in passenger vehicles. During peak times of the year, our trucks are often totally booked for up to two weeks. Therefore, we recommend scheduling a pick-up of your donation before your removal deadline.
Whether you are an artist wanting to donate art you produced or a remodeling store that needs to donate kitchen cabinets to make room for new stock, your contribution will be helping us reach our goal of building 80 homes for families by 2020.
