When you donate money, furniture, artwork and other items to Morris Habitat for Humanity Restore, you are donating to the store that builds homes. We are very thankful to the individuals and businesses that shop in our ReStore, volunteer their time and donate money or new and gently used items to help make the lives better for less fortunate members of our community. We are also very proud that proceeds from the ReStore have built 18 homes for hard-working families since 2007. Our current goal is to help build, rehabilitate and preserve more homes over the next four years, so we can help over 200 more families.
Like other non-profit organizations, Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore relies on people in our community to donate money and reusable items to generate the proceeds we need to meet our goals. We need to constantly fill our inventory with new and gently used donated items such as the following and more:
At the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore, you will find that our organization can also fulfill your desire to help non-profit organizations working towards saving our environment. By selling donated items to others that have gone on to reuse or repurpose them, we have kept 5,100 tons of material out of landfills since we first opened our ReStore. We also dismantle and recycle donated appliances and other metal items we can’t sell.
Help improve the lives of hardworking families living in Parsippany, Newark, Morristown, Roxbury Township, Jefferson and surrounding regions. Contact us today to learn more about the Morris Habitat for Humanity Restore and consider us when you want to donate money or used household items.
