When you want to donate to charity, is it best to look for local charities that will maximize the use of your donation. Do you have items that you no longer want or need that you can donate to charity? Are you looking for local charities that share your goal of helping others? Or do you want to donate your time? Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a local charity that gladly accepts donations of many kinds.
What makes us different from other local charities is that we are the store that builds homes. Proceeds earned from the sale of donated items at our ReStore are used to help build and remodel affordable homes for hardworking families in our communities.
Our Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore opened in 2007, and in a short time, we have accomplished the following and more:
For specialty items, we have our ReStore Collection, which includes listed works of art, silver, upscale antiques and collectibles. Items in the ReStore Collection are featured on our website and in our online auctions. If you have items that would be a good fit for this more exclusive collection, we would greatly appreciate your donation.
You can be assured that, whether you bring an item to Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore to donate to charity or are purchasing an item from our ReStore Collection, all funds from the sale are used to help us reach our goal of building 80 homes by 2020. Without donations from residents and business owners in Randolph, Summit, Bedminster Township, Berkeley Heights, Hampton and the surrounding regions, we could not exist.
