As a construction industry professional, you probably know about Habitat for Humanity. You may have even helped in the construction or remodeling of homes for hardworking families in our community. Perhaps you have wanted to help, but you simply don’t have the time. Did you know that you can help in other ways? One of the best ways you can help is to donate tools to Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore. These tax deductible donations from residents and business owners are used for inventory in our ReStore and sold to others in need of the goods. Any funds that we earn from the sale of donated items are put to good use. So far, we have been able to build 18 homes for low-income and middle-income families that wouldn’t have been able to afford housing without our help.
Why not donate tools to Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore when you buy newer more technically advanced tools for your business? Tools that are in good working condition can be used by someone else to fix up their home, start their own business or for many other purposes. In addition, we can utilize tools, too, when we build new homes for those in need. Tools and components that are always in demand at the ReStore and new home sites include the following and more:
Community businesses and local residents donate tools, furniture, tile, cabinets and more to Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore every month. These tax deductible donations allow our ReStore to succeed in creating comfortable living environments for local families. More important than a federal income tax deduction, your donation will have a positive impact on the life of others, so please consider us when you want to donate tools to an organization near you.
You can donate tools at the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore donation door Tuesday through Saturday during our normal business hours. Contact us today or view our store information now. We are proud to accept donations from those located in Randolph, Morristown, Roxbury Township, Jefferson, Bridgewater and surrounding areas.
