Our Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore supports the community by providing a place where new and used items in excellent condition can be donated and then resold to people who can use them. Did you know that Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore also offers furniture donation pickup? We offer donation pick up of large or heavy furniture and other items that won’t fit in your vehicles for transport.
Please try to schedule your pick up ahead of time, because our trucks can be completely booked for up to 2 weeks during our busier times of the year. If your large items are in excellent condition, we will gladly find a time for your donation pick up. We accept the following new or gently used items and more:
Any pick ups are handled by our truck driver and Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore volunteers. Box trucks are used for furniture donation pickup and to deliver all donated items back to our Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
Through the generous donations from individuals and local businesses and the resulting sales generated at the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore, we have been able to help build 18 homes and keep 5,100 tons of reusable materials out of landfills. It is because of this generosity and our team of wonderful volunteers that we have been able to make such a difference in our community. We have many volunteer positions for anyone wanting to help our charity build and rehabilitate homes for hardworking families.
Furniture donation pickup is also available to businesses looking to donate their used office furniture and can be scheduled in areas such as Randolph, Parsippany, Troy Hills, Newark, Mount Olive Township and surrounding cities. For more information on corporate donations, contact us today.
