Local Charities Near Randolph, Morristown, Roxbury Township, Jefferson, Bridgewater & Neighboring Cities

local charities Which of the reputable local charities is known as the store that builds homes? Since first opening its doors in 2007, the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore has used the money generated from the sales of items that have been donated to our store to help build and remodel homes for hard-working families in our local communities. Residents and business owners that donate tools or other items they no longer want or have space for, such as furniture, appliances and more, help families living in substandard conditions move into comfortable, new homes they otherwise would have been unable to afford. The houses built or remodeled by Morris Habitat for Humanity are always affordable, because no profit is added to the price of the home and the mortgage does not include interest.

As one of your top local charities, our Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore is stocked full of gently used, donated items in high demand. While we do not accept or sell clothing, children’s items or electronics that are often sold at thrift stores run by other local charities, shoppers who are looking for excellent bargains at our ReStore will find items in the following categories and more:

  • Antique furniture
  • Appliances
  • Kitchen and bath cabinets
  • Coins and collectibles
  • Plumbing fixtures and hardware
  • Roofing materials

When you are searching for local charities to donate antique furnishings, roofing materials, cabinetry and other accepted household items, bring them to the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore. If they come to us, they will be put to great use!
