Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore is one of the many non-profit organizations in our community that make a huge difference in the lives of others. We are proud to be known as the store that builds homes. When you make a donation of money, household goods, collectibles and more or volunteer your time to our ReStore, you help us rehabilitate and build affordable homes for hard-working families within our communities. Because Morris Habitat is able to offer interest free mortgages, the receiving families can manage the affordable monthly payments on these homes. Those mortgage payments are used to rehab and build more houses, allowing Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore to pay it forward day in and day out.
You can make a donation of new or gently used household items such as furniture, appliances, artwork, musical instruments and more. We have a list of items that we gladly accept for our ReStore. While we accept as many types of donations as possible, we do have a small list of categories including clothing, electronics and some children’s items that we simply cannot accept.
Many people choose to make a donation to the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore by donating their time. In addition to knowing that they are helping to build affordable housing for families, volunteers receive rewards in other ways, as well. Volunteer benefits include:
Like most non-profit organizations, Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore wouldn’t be successful without the help of our volunteers in Randolph, Parsippany, Troy Hills, Newark, Mount Olive Township and the surrounding areas.
