The Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore is the store that builds homes. Because of the generous tax deductible donations from the residents and business owners in our community and the shoppers that come into our store to purchase items, we have helped build 18 homes for hardworking families since we opened our doors in 2007.
If you are a homeowner or business owner wondering where to donate furniture because you are moving or redecorating, Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore is the charity for you. We gladly accept gently used or new furniture including the following and more:
Your tax deductible donations of unwanted furniture and other items go into our inventory and are sold to others that need it. Since 2007, more than 5,100 tons of reusable items have been kept out of landfills. Instead, these items and materials have been gladly accepted by us and put back to good use, and the proceeds from the sale of your donated items is put towards our 2020 goal of building 80 homes.
Over the years, local businesses in our community have contributed significantly to the success of our Morris Habitat for Humanity Restore. The products and services donated to our facility have propelled us closer and closer to reaching our goal. We are thankful to organizations such as the Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association for encouraging their members to help our organization. Any businesses that wonder where to donate furniture or outdated merchandise can bring most of their unwanted items to us and earn a federal income tax deduction.
Our donation door at Morris Habitat for Humanity Restore is open during regular store hours, and volunteers are ready to receive your tax deductible donations. If you live in Randolph, Summit, Bedminster Township, Berkeley Heights, Hampton or the neighboring areas, contact one of our associates today or view our store information now.
