Used furniture and other items donated to the Morris Habitat for Humanity Restore help us rehabilitate and build homes for hardworking families. In fact, proceeds from the ReStore have already built 18 homes since 2007, and we plan on helping more than 200 families over the next four years with the ongoing sale of donated items, which are available at our ReStore.
Used furniture is one of the best-selling categories at the Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore. We accept antique, office and household furniture at our donation drop off door and accept items such as the following and more:
Outdoor furniture is accepted from mid-April through mid-October, and we have volunteers on hand to help with a donation drop off of large or heavy items. On occasion, Morris Habitat for Humanity Restore offers pick up services when you have used furniture or other items that are too large to fit in your vehicle, but we highly recommend that you schedule your pick up well ahead of the date you need your items removed, because our trucks are sometimes completely booked for 2 or more weeks during peak periods.
In addition to used furniture, we gladly accept other household related items in categories including décor, lighting, tools, appliances and more. Our ReStore Collection of high-end items such as antiques, china, silver, listed artwork and other collectibles are sold online and during our auction events. These items can be picked up at our ReStore or be shipped directly to the purchaser.
It’s always best to check with our staff before dropping off a furniture donation at Morris Habitat for Humanity ReStore to make sure your item is one that we can accept. Contact us today for a list of acceptable items or to schedule your used furniture donation pick-up in Parsippany, Newark, Morristown, Roxbury Township, Jefferson or neighboring cities.
